Kaye’s Unity Home Care Llc is Hiring a PCA Personal Care Assistant Near Suffolk, VA
We're looking for compassionate professionals to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. The primary responsibility is providing care for people living with a variety of illnesses, disabilities and health conditions, by providing them with personal assistance and performing specific tasks on their behalf. This includes helping individuals bathe, dress, eat and perform other day-to-day activities. A Personal Care Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining the wellbeing of their clients by reporting changes in the client's conditions to their supervisor or manager.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.15 - $13.00 per hour
